Submissions Wanted for A photo-book anthology celebrating mid-life in poetry, stories and visual art

A group of women has come together to compile an anthology of celebration and positive imaging in praise of women in mid-life - those who often find themselves with evolving family responsibilities, roles and dynamics.
Many such women have changing work commitments or are facing redundancy, retirement or even having to go back to work due to financial pressure. They could also be dealing with endings or beginnings of relationships, illness or death among friends or relatives, and their own physical or emotional health issues.

We are looking for submissions of poetry, stories and photographs of all forms of visual arts (e.g. painting, sculpture, sketches, cartoons, photographs) which celebrate positively in the face of such challenges.

These submissions are from, or relating to, women in the mid-40s to mid-60s, in Sligo, Leitrim and West Cavan. See www.mid-lifeslices.com  for more details. The profits from this book will go to: The Sligo Cancer Support Centre
